The submission forms for the 35th edition of the Festival Nouveau Cinema in Film and New Media are alreadyavailable in .pdf format from the Festival's website www.nouveaucinema.ca.

This year the Festival Nouveau Cinema celebrates it's 35th anniversary andtherefore would like to open the range of submitted work in Film and New Media to a broader spectrum of creators worldwide.

The deadline for submissions isJune 15th 2006.Online submissions will be available soon.

The Festival is also very grateful for all your interest and availabilityin sharing this information with other artists and/or institutions that suport cultural production and diffusion.

How to Enter:

Work must be completed since January 1, 2003.
Entries must be postmarked to Freewaves by February 15, 2006.
Include completed entry form
Label entries with title, artist's name, length, date of work andformat.
Include a resume or bio plus a one paragraph description for eachwork submitted.
For websites, indicate URL address on application form.
For installation proposals, include additional description anddiagrams/images.
If you are in US, include self-addressed stamped envelope for returnof work.
There is no entry fee to submit work for consideration, however, wehighly encourage those who can afford it to become LA Freewavesmembers with a $25 donation. With membership, you support our programsso that we can continue to promote and exhibit innovative new mediaart during this difficult time.

IF (Independent Festival) of Digital Arts is entering its second year. We are seeking submissions of digital art for our May, 2005 Festival, to be held in Berkeley, California, USA. We welcome not only digital video work, but 2D artwork, sound projects, multimedia installations, performance and presentations.

Interested digital artists can refer to our website, which is www.ifdigitalarts.org. Submission guidelines and entry forms are available on the website. Any questions can be directed toward info@ifdigitalarts.org.

The deadlines for work are November 1, 2004 for single channel video and 2D digital imagery and November 30 for all other work.

Our international Festival acts as a catalyst for critical and creative reflections on contemporary audiovisual culture.
