Work presentation by Eduard Freudmann After being absent from the Academy for the last year and since a significant number of students joined meanwhile the PCAP, Eduard Freudmann will talk about his work. Eduard Freudmann is since 2007 teaching at the Department for Conceptual Art Practices, where he is employed as Senior Artist and is currently working on his dissertation. Freudmann deals with possibilities of debating racisms, anti-Semitism and anti-Romaism in post-Nazi and post-colonial contexts and their resulting potential identities and solidarities. He is the author of articles and books which are integral components of his artistic work. His projects have been presented in exhibitions, biennials and film festivals.

CV: Marissa Lôbo is a migrant black activist and artist born in Bahia, Brazil. She co-ordinates the cultural work within an self-organisation of migrant women, MAIZ, Linz (www.maiz.at); Lôbo within and with Maiz organizes artistic- critical education related to anti-racist and anti-sexist struggles. Lôbo in her artist and activist work addresses hegemonic sexualised and racialized body regimes from a Black perspective. She aims to de-colonize queer theory and to intervene in white supremacist narrative. She completed her MA in the Post Conceptual Art Practices at the Academy for fine Arts in Vienna in 2014. She has received the award of the Academy for her MA work in 2014. The guest talk of Marissa Lôbo is organized by Marion Porten within her seminar at the Department of Video and Videoinstallation. 11.00 to 14.00, M1
